#001-Lip Tints

With the K-wave going on and various korean stars using lip tints, its inevitable that lip tints have become the latest trend. (I know that Woohyun from infinite uses them :p )When I first saw this picture of Sulli from F(X), I couldn't help but wonder how she got her lips that red. It didn't look like a lipstick.
Noticed how most Ulzzangs have sweet pink lips that seem to be concentrated in the center of their lips?

Some info bout lip tints.

1) They have the consistency of food coloring/ink= provides no moisture, unlike lip balm/gloss.
I know some tints come with a gloss, so that's a plus. I know of some Jelly Tints/Milky Tints , I've tried they jelly ones and honestly they're no different from a gloss (THIS IS A BAD THING, why would I want to buy a tint that's like a gloss? if I wanted a gloss I'd buy a gloss -__-) . I'm not too sure of Milky Tints but they remind me of a creamy lipstick which... I could just buy ._.

2)Application is extremely tricky. It might take you some time to learn how to apply it naturally. I usually dot it in the middle of my bottom lip before spreading it around, it looks natural-er. Brushes,Pens... to me they make no difference, they're all hard to use at first.

3)Tints are extremely long lasting. You could eat with a tint on and it would most probably still be on after them meal. (Then again staying power depends a lot on the product itself, but I'm just speaking in general. If your tint doesn't stay then.. well sucks for you)
Oh the infamous benetint. Hailed by most beauty gurus as the best benefit product eva!!!1!!
Lol well, I don't exactly like spending on high end products. I've never seen the point of buying expensive high end products when I'm pretty damn sure there's a dupe out there for it.

Speaking of which. I have the perfect dupe for this.

Etude House Proof 10 Aqua Tint

I love this so much, Its exactly like benetint but a lot cheaper. its SGD$14 if I'm not wrong. Plus its from Eude house! I love korean cosmetics~


Holika Holika Holy Berry Tint


Most korean brands such as Nanas B,Tony Moly, Nature Republic, The Face Shop..... All have tints. In fact, they have many types of tints. Its up to you which one you want to use. But personally I like the look of watery tints. they're harder to apply, but once you get the hang of it, you get natural looking pinky lips.
